Our story began on March 3, 2018, at the Powerman Malaysia event in Putrajaya. Amid the pre-race excitement, Aina approached Ziq with a simple request: “Hey, do you have an allen key that I could borrow?” Little did either of them know, that small favor would spark something much bigger.

As they exchanged phone numbers to coordinate the loan, Ziq texted Aina: “Hey, let me know if you need any help before the race, I'll be at the transition area.” What started as a brief interaction turned into a series of conversations—about triathlon, shared passions, and their mutual love for coffee and pastries.

Before long, they realized how perfectly they clicked, discovering that they weren’t just a good match in sports, but in life. What seemed like a chance encounter had turned into a beautiful connection.

Now, as they look ahead to a lifetime together, Aina and Ziq are filled with gratitude for the love that grew from that first simple exchange. Excited for the adventures yet to come, they are ready to continue this journey hand in hand.
